Family Memberships
Families make our unit special. This option is open to any person with immediate family members who also wish to be members. Spouses and dependent children through the age of 18 are eligible for membership as a family and each registered family member will be considered a member of the Battery. Dependent children who are full time students are eligible through age 24.
Annual Fee is $90
Student Memberships
Enhance your learning experience. This option is open to full time high school or college students.
Annual Fee is $35
Single Memberships
Start something new. This option is open to any person 18 years or older who meets the criteria set forth in the membership requirements section below.

About Membership
Any person who is interested in the objectives of Cushing’s Battery may be considered a candidate for membership provided they are of good moral character. Cushing’s Battery shall not discriminate as race, sex, religion, or creed.
A member shall be an individual meeting the qualifications of Cushing’s Battery, whose application has been approved by the majority of the membership.
Membership Requirements
The applicant shall agree, prior to obtaining membership, to conform to the rules, regulations, and dress code established be the Board of Executives.
When possible, a senior member will be assigned to a new member for training and safety purposes. At those times when a new member’s regular assigned assigned trainer is not available, another will be temporarily assigned to him/her/they.
The applicant shall agree that the he/she/they will adhere and obey all Federal, State, and Local laws pertaining to the safe and legal use of a black powder and edged weapon.
Family memberships are established with the consent of the board for more than one applicant in an immediate family.
